We hired Marty and the crew at Earthcraft Design to design and install a patio and permaculture garden at our business (Brewbakers Cafe). The design process was thoughtful, patient, and detailed - and all within the challenges of city code. Officials at the city were impressed with the attention to detail and quickly approved the work. Earthcraft helped us transform what was an urban gravel strip along the roadside into a beautiful patio with custom benches made from local wood, treated with natural finishes, and integrated planters. They met the goal of patio seating that was safe, moveable, and beautiful! Along the exterior wall of the building and parallel to the benches is a row of drip line planters; growing native plants and herbs. Also installed was a water catchment system for ease of watering. We were amazed with how quickly the vegetation grew in and produced beautiful herbs for our kitchen and community. Earthcraft helps to maintain the site and works efficiently and affordably. We couldn't be happier with our urban garden patio and working with Earthcraft Design.

Earthcraft Design has completely transformed our 1/2 acre home’s landscape into a stunningly beautiful outdoor area, from front to back. Most of the 50+ plants and trees which they put in last year are edibles or are self-sustaining natives. They also put in a clover lawn in a partially shaded area, and for the first time in 25 years, we have a beautiful green covered area; in this second year, everything has flourished beyond expectation. They are conscientious and extremely knowledgeable about what to plant and where to obtain the best flora.
